Parking Fines - Frequent Causes

Check the time of your parking

Make sure that your parking was active during the issueing of the parking fine. You can find your parking reciept under "My Parkings" in your APP"

Check the license plate

Make sure that the license plate noted on the parking fine is the same, as the one on your parking reciept in your APP. You can find your parking reciepts under "My Parkings" in your APP

If you have an odd license plate, please make sure that the parking operator has interpreted the license plate correctly.

Check if the parking was started correctly

Make sure that you have recieved a confirmation of your parking starting before shutting off your phone. If the parking was not started, no active parking can be detected. Check your parking history under "My Parkings" to find your latest parkings.

Check the signage

When parking with EasyPark, we always recommend to check the signs if you are in doubt. The signs will tell you everything you need to know, along with area code, restrictions and parking terms.

Check the local parking rules

Make sure that you have complied with all the local parking rules for that exact parking spot. Sometimes certain parking spaces on a covered EasyPark area will have reserved parking spots or limited time. These rulese are set by the parking operator.

The wrong are was confirmed

Whenever you park with EasyPark, you have to confirm your position and the area you wish to park in. If you by accident have confirmed the wrong area, the parking operator of the actual area will not be able to detect a valid parking. Make sure that the correct have been confirmed. If in doubt, you can always consult with the signs on the area.
