How do I recognize and prevent fraud?

Sometimes people will pretend to be EasyPark to obtain sensitive information or collect money. We cannot stop this, but we can help you recognize such actions to prevent potential harm.

Fraudsters often try to obtain information and/or money through phishing (email) or smishing (SMS) messages. These messages are often well-made and look genuine, but they usually contain errors.

When in doubt, always carefully check the information displayed in the received message. Verify the sender and the grammar. Additionally, through the app and your personal page, you always have the opportunity to view and verify your own (outstanding) invoices. You can also check and compare your customer number and invoice number with the details in the received message.

Are you not our customer? Your details are not known in our system. However, you can still receive fraudulent messages. Unfortunately, we do not know how fraudsters obtain information. You can report the received messages in your inbox and delete them.
